Shipping and processing
We know you cannot wait to hold your new piece. Every item is carefully packaged in damage-resistant packaging before shipment.
- European Union — GLS courier delivery to your home or workplace, usually within 1–2 business days after dispatch.
- Hungary — GLS courier delivery to your home or workplace, usually within 1–2 business days after dispatch; Foxpost parcel locker collection nationwide; or MPL postal delivery.
- Processing — your order is handed to the carrier within 7 business days.
- Delivery times may vary depending on location. The final available method and price shown at checkout prevails.
Damaged delivery
Inspect the parcel on arrival. If it is damaged, photograph the packaging and product, keep all packaging, and contact info@marquetryworld.com as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours. This request helps carrier claims and does not shorten statutory rights.
30-day returns and EU withdrawal
To request a return, email info@marquetryworld.com and include your order number. Return items to INTARZIA STÚDIÓ Kft., 9100 Tét, Szent István utca 4., Hungary after receiving instructions. Eligible goods must be unused and returned with their original packaging where reasonably possible. Unannounced returns may delay identification and processing.
- EU consumers have a statutory 14-day withdrawal period starting when they or their designated third party receive the goods.
- Our voluntary return request period is 30 days from receipt for eligible goods.
- Unless the item is defective, the customer pays direct return shipping costs.
- Approved refunds are made to the original payment method without undue delay and, under the statutory withdrawal rules, no later than 14 days after notice; repayment may be withheld until the goods are returned or return is proven.
- A refund may reflect diminished value caused by use beyond normal inspection.
Personalised orders
The statutory withdrawal right does not apply to goods that are not prefabricated and are made to your individual instructions or clearly personalised. This exception applies only when a separate custom request—such as a bespoke dimension, pattern, inscription or material specification—is expressly accepted. Choosing an ordinary listed phone model, tabletop size or standard finish does not by itself remove the withdrawal right.

I/We hereby give notice that I/We withdraw from my/our contract of sale of the following goods: [goods]. Ordered on/received on: [date]. Consumer name: [name]. Consumer address: [address]. Order number: [number]. Signature (only if submitted on paper): [signature]. Date: [date].
Statutory warranty for conformity
If a product is defective at delivery, a consumer may request repair or replacement unless impossible or disproportionate. If these are unavailable, not completed within a reasonable time, or the defect is serious, the consumer may request a proportionate price reduction or terminate the contract under applicable law. For consumer goods, claims may generally be asserted within two years from delivery; special rules govern the burden of proof.
Product warranty and commercial guarantee
A consumer may also pursue a product-warranty claim against the manufacturer for a defective movable product, subject to statutory conditions and deadlines. No additional commercial guarantee is promised unless stated expressly on the product page or guarantee document. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
Natural wood is unique
Real veneer varies in grain, colour and shade. Hand assembly may leave fine transitions or small fitting gaps, and waxed or lacquered finishes can change subtly with light, time and use. These disclosed natural and craft characteristics do not constitute a defect by themselves. Damage, unsafe construction, material separation, or material deviation from the product description may still be defective and is assessed under statutory rules.
